As an illustrator I was frustrated by lack of choice when it came to sketchbooks. I wanted something beautiful, stylish and unique to work in that reflected my tastes as an artist. Eventually I decided to learn to make my own sketchbooks, learning all the steps of binding books to make a professional product. After working on these for several months I realised that other people might enjoy them too.

These books are perfect as a sketchbook, diary or even for taking notes in. 

Each Lunar book consists of 60 sides of the finest 160gsm cartridge paper. They have been hand bound by myself with covers in a beautiful sandy golden Colorado book cloth and stitched together with thick strong black thread. Completely crafted and designed by myself, these sketch books are part of a series of ‘Lunar’ books subtly decorated with moon phases and shapes on the end papers.
